IN THE BEGINNING
Multinail originated in Canberra during 1979 after Peter Taylor (CEO) saw the need to provide the Australian Pre-fabricated timber industry with a quality Australian-made product. Since then the Taylor family has continued to grow the business adding multiple levels of services and products offering a powerful and real alternative to the building industry.
ON THE MOVE
The company in 1982 set up in the “Timber Town” of NSW – Wauchope, located near Port Macquarie. Unparalleled growth has seen the company commit to the future and recently relocate to purpose-built facilities in Stapylton, Queensland. Our high-speed production and machinery division (Stapylton Engineering) commands over 10000 sq m undercover on a 4 hectare site - now our new home and head office. 2009 sees us celebrate 30 years in our highly competitive industry!
THE PRESENT
Our company employs over 100 people and has now expanded internationally to many other countries. Locally based in Queensland, we employ a range of specialist tradespeople and professionals including Engineers, Software Programmers, Boilermakers, Fitter Machinists, Electricians and Design Draftspeople. Our production facility houses a range of super high speed presses, bracing lines and state of the art materials handling equipment. Our facilities are well positioned to suit and service the demanding requirements of a range of Australian and overseas products.
THE FUTURE
Multinail will continue to expand, focusing on improving and diversifying its products and services to best suit our markets. Multinail’s continuous research and development program will deliver high quality products and services across a broad range of supply opportunities.
