FRAME AUSTRALIA 2016 UNDERWAY

The Frame Australia conference and exhibition in 2016 will be a combination of both 2014 and 2015 events with sessions on design, building and prefabrication of timber and engineered wood systems.

Presentations will comprehensively cover the process of construction including building design, engineering and codes, manufacturing and prefabrication, supply and installation on site, and will be held in parallel sessions to enable the extensive range of topics to be held in the one day program.

Conference theme for Frame’s 18th year is “Building construction with prefabricated timber and engineered wood” and will be held on Monday 23 May at Park Hyatt Melbourne.   Director Kevin Ezard said “we are confidant Frame 2016 will be the largest ever with combined delegate attendance from the previous 2 events covering the complete spectrum of building and prefabrication.

“And the topics program is very timely with the NCC provisions for 8 storey timber buildings expected on May 1, just 3 weeks before the event.

“We have expert international speakers presenting on new technologies in automated manufacture of roof truss and wall frame systems, and prefabrication of panellised systems for building that are increasing in popularity both globally and in Australia.

Kevin added “The exhibition booths at Frame 2016 provide suppliers a unique opportunity to showcase their market offer and interact with delegates from building design and construction; engineered wood; and prefab timber systems.   “It is pleasing to see the response from previous event exhibitors who are already taking up booths for 2016 in anticipation of developing new relationships for future business opportunities” he concluded.
