Cost engineering guide for timber construction systems
Regional Operations Manager, Mirvac MPC
Kase initially worked with Mirvac from 2002 to 2009. He then spent six years in mid-rise development with Australand (later Frasers Property). In 2015, with Rob Pradolin and David Graham, he delivered the first lightweight timber-structure five-storey apartment building in Australia - “The Green” - which used a new hybrid construction methodology that set a benchmark for timber-frame construction.
In 2016, Kase returned to Mirvac and is now with the Masterplanned Communities Construction Division, where his responsibilities include the design and build of (initially) 300 medium-density homes at ‘Tullamore’ housing estate in Doncaster. This project champions the use of timber-frame cassette floors and panelized walls.
Please welcome Kase Jong.
