Expanded program for 2019 event

December 20, 2018

The ‘Timber Offsite Construction’ conference and exhibition is at the forefront of a world-wide transformation to modernise construction with solutions that are faster and lower cost to build.

Conference Director Kevin Ezard said “The 2019 event will be bigger and better with a new and larger venue for an expanded 2-day program.

“Sessions will feature prominent local and global experts with topics exclusively devoted to timber and mass wood building construction and will be the only event for delegates to find out what’s really happening in this space”.

The Monday Speaker sessions will provide an overview of building construction projects for insight into what is possible and what efficiencies can be achieved in design and construction of residential and commercial projects.

Presentations will cover current trends in offsite construction systems for a wide range of buildings in Australia and globally, including digital technologies, offsite system selection, the design and build process for offsite, plus latest developments in high efficiency manufacture of offsite buildings.

Tuesday sessions will reach into the more detailed aspects with Panel sessions on a range of contrasting Offsite construction projects, for open discussion with the key influencers in the design and build process.

Afternoon Workshop sessions will allow delegates to select from a diverse range of individual Workshops covering topics such fire protection design, acoustic performance, getting started with offsite, design and manufacturing software, offsite construction system options, fastening and connectors design, design examples of mass wood and timber frame projects, building costs analysis, and more.

This unique event continues to be the leading forum in Australia for exchange of knowledge on timber Offsite construction systems, performing a pivotal role in information sharing and networking.

Delegates will also learn what’s happening around the world and locally, to be up to date with the latest innovations and construction developments emerging as the popularity of timber and wood buildings expands rapidly.

Registration is available on-line at the website – so register now and save with Early Bird registration.

‘Timber Offsite Construction’ organised by Frame Australia will be held on Monday and Tuesday 17-18 June at Crown Promenade Melbourne, and for details visit the website www.frameaustralia.com
