May 16, 2016

To cater for the wide range of delegate interests, Frame 2016 sessions will be held in parallel for topics on building design and construction, and for timber prefabrication to enable a time-saving one-day event.

Speakers from Canada, USA, UK, Germany, Sweden, Italy and a host of local experts will present on the conference theme “Building construction with prefabricated timber and engineered wood”

Highlights of the program include a Conference Opening Address by Senator Anne Ruston, Assistant Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources, who will launch the report “Megatrends and the Australian Forest and Wood Products Sector: Opportunities and Challenges for sustainable growth’.

Conference director Kevin Ezard said “A number of speakers will be taking the opportunity to announce new initiatives and significant developments in the timber and wood products industry, along with recent advances in construction and prefabrication technologies.

“Frame plays a pivotal role in bringing together the complete supply chain of timber and prefabrication with building design and construction to develop communication and relationships for future business opportunities”.

He concluded “Our Principal Supporter for 2016 is again WoodSolutions in their role of providing technical advice and assistance to designers and builders considering the construction benefits from timber building systems”.
