Expanded 2-day conference program
March 1, 2017
A new sessions format for 2017 is a two-day program, with one day of speaker presentations by international and local speakers followed by delegate hospitality and networking, and a second day comprised of workshop sessions and delegate tours to timber building sites and offsite manufacturing plants.
This extended format will provide a greater amount of time for interaction between delegates and suppliers for generation of business opportunities.
The Monday conference sessions program will cover the entire offsite construction process from architectural design to specification to construction to manufacturing; to provide delegates with a broad understanding of the collaboration required for success in reducing construction time and lowering overall project costs.
Tuesday workshop sessions will create opportunities for interaction amongst delegates and presenters, particularly on topics that require more detailed discussion than is possible within speaker presentation sessions.
Delegate tours following lunch on Tuesday will visit several timber offsite construction projects and new timber prefabrication plants with highly automated production facilities, all within short distances from the venue.
Delegate registration for the conference is now available on-line at the Frame Australia website. Early bird registration fees receive a $150 discount.
Registration gives delegated access to all activities: Monday speaker sessions including discussion forums; Monday delegate hospitality and networking event; Tuesday morning workshop sessions; and Tuesday afternoon delegate tour.
The conference also includes the exhibition display, which makes available the most up-to-date information on international trends and emerging technologies.
